How NIce!

Just when I thought I was careening towards another craptastic week, I got a comment from my friend Dorky Dad telling me he had nominated me for an award!

Anyone who knows me well, understands that I am the ultimate sucker for affirmation! DD told me that is a woman thing....and personally....I would have to agree!

I find it ironic that he told me about the "Nice Blogger" award in the comment box of a post where I dog a woman that is just a little too proud of herself.....but HEY! I will take it!

While there are many adjectives I might use to describe myself, nice is not the first one that comes to mind.....HOWEVER....we are not choosy when it comes to LOVE at the Mayhem! Thanks DD.....coming from a blog I look forward to reading....means a lot!

Now to share the love! I love/hate this part! There are so many bloggers I am in love with, it is hard to choose!

1. Let's start with Steph at Lawyermama........I am borderline obsessed with this woman and I fear she might take legal action soon.....so I have to buy a little more time by saying that I thoroughly enjoy her honest, witty posts and have been the recipient of her kindness on a number of occasions! She makes me feel loved as a blogger.....and for an insanely needy person like me....that means a lot!

2. Next is Annie at 'Life is Short"........I can not tell you how much I dig those cool chick! I have emailed her with the most random of things and she has always been there to give her honest, supportive answer! Plus.....anyone with "Happy Hour" in the title of her blog is OKAY with me! Ann ROCKS!

3. I can not begin to express how helpful and kind Attila is at Cheaper Than Therapy. She has often gone above and beyond when it comes to answering questions about concerns I have had with Junior Mayhem. She even sent me a book....HOW NICE IS THAT?!

4. Fourth is my "Favorite Canadian" Michelle at One Full House. This newlywed never ceases to make me feel special and is never too busy to help out a friend! You would be lucky to have a friend like her! ( I know I feel that way!)

5. Finally, I want to give this award to Julie from the Ravin' Picture Maven. This woman is a gifted writer who never ceases to amaze me with the insight and risks she is willing to take with her posts! I hardly feel worthy to even comment sometimes! :) However, she is always right there, willing to lend a sympathetic ear and a kind word to a person in need! She has lifted my spirits on a number of occasions! LOVE HER!

There were so many more that I wanted to give....but I saw some of my faves had already been nominated.....just wanted to share the love!
